Never too late to learn – Flash CS5

Thanks for my former colleague Liang, a real Flash Master(Flash Developer) I have net met before! I used to copy the latest Flash AS code from his BLOG. Yeah! Flash CS5 has already been released. http://www.flashmagazine.com/news/detail/adobe_flash_cs5_sneaks_from_fotb09/ Unfortunately, in 2009, we are all getting tired of IT related industries with own complex feelings. I wanna say to him: Never discourage after you came back to our hometown Shanghai! Although it’s really hard to find a satisfied job at there, although we’re getting older and older(in one’s 30s), we have more competitive work experiences and professional skills in this area for long long time. It’s never too late/old to learn!

Flash AS code – ColorMatrix effects
Turn the movieclip of picture to be in black:
MovieClip.filters = [new ColorMatrixFilter([0.3, 0.59, 0.11, 0, 0, 0.3, 0.59, 0.11, 0, 0, 0.3, 0.59, 0.11, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0])];

Turn the movieclip of picture to be the initial value:
MovieClip.filters = [new ColorMatrixFilter([1, 0, 0, 0, 0,0,1,0,0,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,0,0,1,0])];

Flash components SHOW OFF the problems of user experience?

I was really disappointed with Stickam these weeks. As its typical registered user in 2005, I have saved some mp3 songs and more personal videos on their website for several years. Unfortunately, they added more new features but to get the important functions of uploading into touble. I want to say: Most of time flash components are really troublesome in online applications! Obviously, they always trigger different USER EXPERIENCE problems.

I tried many times to upload local mp3 files through the new style of uploading pages on Stickam. All is constituted by Flash component now and the BUG never stops! I tested it FireFox, the latest version, the previous version…IE 6 as well…Everytime it shows different errors. The uploading table can’t appear properly in FireFox 3.0.5, the new released version. In the outdated IE 6, local Chinese Tecent TT explorer, it has popup error window in Flash or displays nothing in the section of uploading. That’s really crazy for me!

Stickam was kicked off by Facebook last year. Certainly they have the most important reason now! They are doing crashed work! They decide to release a new feature every time, on the contrary, there’s a problem instead of fixing the problem.

Remember: Flash components can’t represent everything on Internet world. It should obey the basic guildline of user experience! To be simple functions, we don’t need stylish format and unnecessary decoration.

  Flash Player 9发布了，我赶紧安装。但有个比较愚蠢的问题一直困扰着我。不过今天总算解决了。感叹Flash从4一直到今天的professional 8，Macromedia公司当之无愧是互动领域开发的王者啊！

对于早期Flash6时代的Flash Player，存在着以上的问题。IE弹出窗口反复地提示，我将Flash的源文件再逐一输出为版本6，还是无可奈何。
上Macromedia网站，费劲一查，总算解决了一个看起来较低级的问题。哈哈！请看：

您可以通过将内容的位置添加到“安全”面板中来指定您计算机上的哪些 Flash 内容始终可以使用较早的安全规则。将您计算机上的一个位置添加到“安全”面板后, 该位置的内容就是受信任的。Flash Player 不会征求您的同意, 而且会始终允许使用较早的安全规则, 即使选择了“安全”面板中的“始终拒绝”选项也是如此。“始终信任以下位置的文件”列表覆盖了“设置”面板中的选项。也就是说, 即使您选择始终拒绝本地内容和 Web 内容使用较早的安全规则, 也会始终允许受信任列表中的本地文件使用较早的规则。

位于面板底部的“始终信任文件”列表专用于您下载到计算机中的 Flash 内容, 而不适用于您在访问 Web 站点时使用的内容。
